Some of these things used to be part of a portfolio for a class. Then I took some of those things and made them bigger, removing the originals. Then some of those things went and got published places and I removed them due to ~legal stipulations~. And then I removed some things that weren’t really experiments, were too close to my comfort zone, were just vanity & word masturbation.
So now, this is left: the skeletons of some tiny things I tried, after I lied my way into an advanced workshop that slapped me in the face and made me excited about writing in a way I’d lost since I first came to college.
You can find updates on my new work over at http://yvonnespring.net, where I use pretentious terms like ‘literary CV’ to pump up my self esteem since I am still learning to refine my work and push myself from weird to weirder.
Thanks to all of you weirdoes and perverts who weren’t in this class but read and commented on my work anyways. You’re always appreciated.
